The fourth quarter of 2022 saw varying performance in downloads and active users among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Slovakia. Below is an overview of the key metrics for each app, sourced from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at nearly 3K in mid-December before decreasing to approximately 1.6K by the end of the year. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 46.2K at the beginning of the quarter to around 44K by the end.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a consistent performance with weekly downloads averaging around 400. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 2.1K and 2.4K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, culminating in a peak of 551 in the final week of December. The app's weekly active users also showed an upward trend, rising from approximately 15.9K at the start of the quarter to about 18.3K by the end.

Careem – rides, food & more had modest weekly downloads, peaking at 130 in early November and ending the year with 95 downloads. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 263 at the beginning of the quarter to 280 by the end of December.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained a steady download rate, with a noticeable increase to 100 downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, rising from 315 at the start of the quarter to 359 by the end of the year.
